HCPCS:E1399
Key Features:
Quiet Operation: the Z2 Auto motor and firmware combination along with the Q-lite are designed to minimize both dynamic and static noise at the device and within the mask.
Z-Breathe® Comfort Feature: Z-Breathe is designed to minimize the impact of spikes and drops while keeping the pressure constant, thereby delivering more comfortable therapy. To make it easier to exhale, the Z-Breathe technology temporarily reduces the pressure during exhalation. There are three airflow settings to personalize air flow.
Heat Moisture Exchanger (HME) Waterless Humidification: The Z2 Auto comes with a small, portable humidification cartridge called an HME. When inserted between the hose and the mask, it captures the moisture in the exhaled breath and releases it on the inhaled breath. It does not require any electricity or additional water. The HME eliminates the disadvantages associated with electrical humidification systems by not using electricity or complicated moving parts. Simply connect the HME’s large diameter end to your mask and the smaller diameter end to your CPAP tube to complete the installation. Double-check that both connections are properly placed and secured. To extend the life of the HME, store it in a sealed plastic bag between usage. When it is no longer humidifying (one week or so), throw it away.
Z2 Auto Nitelog® Bluetooth App: The Z2 Auto has a range of functionality from device remote control to data reviewing available via its embedded Bluetooth capability. The Z2 Nitelog® App is available for download at the App Store™ for Apple devices or at Google Play for Android devices. Separate Z2 Nitelog® App User Guides are available for download on the Breas Medical web site, www.breas.us. The App User Guides provide an overview of the App as well as detailed use instructions.
Leak Compensation: Automatically compensates for minor leaks to maintain accurate therapy pressure.
Auto Altitude Adjustment: Seamlessly adapts up to 8,000 feet above sea level, perfect for air travel and mountainous regions.
Air Travel-Ready: The Breas Z2 Auto CPAP follows RTCA/DO-160, Section 21, Category M and achieves FAA compliance for use on aircraft. To maintain airplane compliance when in the air, the machine Bluetooth should be kept turned off like other mobile devices.
Upgradable Operating System: the Z2 Auto firmware and software can be easily updated via the USB Cable and your computer.
Compact and Lightweight: At 10.5 oz, it is designed to take up minimal space in your luggage.
Auto Adjusting Voltage: for world travel (100-240v)
No special mask required: The Breas Z2 Auto is compatible with all CPAP masks and standard tubing without the need for any special mask.
Note: The Z2 Auto is not compatible with heated tubing.
Prescription-Only Device: treats serious respiratory conditions
